If one accept's Nietzsche's view of life that might be so. But if one believes life is a three-act play, with much of the second act to be played out after one leaves earth's stage, many of the greatest will only be seen to be so when this act is fully played out. And many of those now viewed as great - or at least famous- will be seen to have failed to achieve anything, or very little, of real worth at all. I still root for the so-called "bungled and botched," who will someday prove to be the real stars.
